Citizens Bank of West Virginia Debit Card Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Citizens Bank of West Virginia (“Citizens Bank”), headquartered in Elkins, West Virginia.
The Promotion begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on September 1 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 30, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
The Promotion is open to individuals who:
(*For purposes of these Official Rules, “good standing” means the customer’s checking account is open and not overdrawn at the time of the drawing.)
Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of Citizens Bank of West Virginia are not eligible. Immediate family members include spouses, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, and their respective spouses.

Debit Card Entries
Participants will automatically receive one (1) entry for each settled debit card purchase of ten dollars ($10.00) or more posted to a Citizens Bank of West Virginia checking account during the Promotion Period. Eligible transactions include PIN-based and signature-based debit card purchases.

There is no limit to the number of entries that may be earned through eligible debit card transactions.
Alternative Method of Entry (“AMOE”)
Individuals may enter by mailing a 3″ x 5″ index card containing their name, address, email address, and phone number to:

Each properly completed 3” x 5” card, mailed separately and received during the Promotion Period, will count as one (1) entry.
Eligible participants may submit unlimited mail-in entries; however, each entry must be mailed separately and received by Citizens Bank of West Virginia during the Promotion Period to qualify for the drawing.
Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, bulk-mailed, automated, or otherwise artificially generated entries are void and may be disqualified at Citizens Bank of West Virginia’s sole discretion.
Five (5) winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, including qualifying debit card transaction entries and mail-in entries. The prize drawing will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Citizens Bank of West Virginia’s financial center, located at 211 Third Street, Elkins, WV. Citizens Bank’s decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection, and prize awards are final and binding. To obtain the winners’ names, email customerservice@citizenswv.com, within sixty (60) days following the conclusion of the Promotion.
Each winner will receive one (1) prize of a $250.00 cash credit deposited into the winner’s Citizens Bank of West Virginia checking account.
Prize winnings will be deposited within 72 hours of the drawing.
Winners will be notified by telephone, email, or regular mail using the contact information in Citizens Bank of West Virginia’s records. Each entrant agrees that Citizens Bank of West Virginia may contact them by telephone, email, or regular mail.
Citizens Bank of West Virginia may verify entrant eligibility, account ownership, account status, and compliance with these Official Rules before awarding any prize.
If a potential winner does not respond within three (3) business days of the initial prize notification or declines the prize for any reason, the potential winner will be disqualified and the prize forfeited. At Citizens Bank of West Virginia’s sole discretion and if time permits, an alternate potential winner may be randomly selected from all remaining eligible entries.
Citizens Bank of West Virginia shall have the sole right to disqualify any entrant for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Promotion, and to resolve all disputes in its sole discretion.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Each eligible entry, whether generated through a qualifying debit card transaction or submitted through the mail-in entry method will have an equal chance of being selected.
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Citizens Bank of West Virginia to use the winner’s name and city/state of residence for promotional purposes related to the Promotion without additional compensation.
Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with receipt of a prize.
By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Citizens Bank of West Virginia and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of participation in the Promotion or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
